@christina6950Finished my weekly coding project and deployed it on vercel
@micahlt7Finished all major functionality of my Material You-inspired dashboard for my work! Super happy with the results. It's built in Vue 3/Vite and uses a MySQL server for the database. DB connections are managed with Vercel Serverless functions. This screenshot shows the admin panel (in light mode) where you can add and edit sites. Open-source, of course: github.com/micahlt/epicdash
@aaryan0Working on my url shortening service!
Starting with Nextjs 12's new Edge functions and redis, but plan to go even further and try to make it distributed highly scalable with no collision guaranteed!PS. I don't know which domain to use, lmk if ya have a short url and can lend a subdomain xD
@maggie4Since vercel removed its 50 domain limit for pro accounts and also has a new api endpoint for delegating subdomains, I made a bunch of pull requests to try to make vercel managed custom domains work for scrapbook! So now if you run /scrappy-setdomain, you should be able to set a custom domain, even if the domain is managed by vercel :yay:
@micahlt7Today I successfully finished my Facebook post mass deletion webapp (written in Vue 3 and Vercel serverless functions) for work! It makes managing multiple business pages much easier than the official Facebook Business Manager does.
@aaryan0Here's my code in the dark submission (citd.vercel.app). tried to recreate hackclub.com/slack in 30 mins xD. It was really fun, didn't know I could still write vanilla html css, and speed coding is nice.
@J_cordz7+Today I joined a Hack Club event! Although I didn't had the opportunity to stay the full event, it was a nice experience, recently I also setup up my Vercel Account :vercel: for hosting my open source projects but I forgot to mention it before!
@ella6:woof: I made a little parallax thing! I'm not quite sure what I'm going to put on the website, but I think it'd make a neat landing page for something. awef.vercel.app
@matthew0since i shipped the purdue hackers events site last month, it has lived without any social cards. today i forked vercel/og-image and adapted it for purdue hackers! now every event has a dynamic social card and we can easily create more for other parts of our website :partyparrot:og.purduehackers.com
@J_cordz7+So today, it looks like Vercel hosted sites are allowed again on my internet, which was very odd on the first place why they got blocked, anyways, today I worked on my projects, my workshop translation an read a few things about Vue and Nuxt.js as alternatives to React and Next.js, so I will be deciding this days on what to focus to learn better next!
@avi0agggggggggggggg after a long time of Not Touching VSCode, I've finally designed a pretty chill personal website! v1.0 is definitely not done yet because there's some weird shit going on with the links and the SVG images i'm using ~and i might add some animations later~ but if you want to check it out and give me current feedback, it's at avi.vercel.app!
@J_cordz7+Today I worked again on translating the next Hack Club workshop, started setting up again a CSS customization for my scrapbook and check a bit of React and Next.js which I will be learning in order to use them on my projects! Also started considering Vercel as a deploy choice to some of my projects as an addition to Netlify, which I will be also using with some of them later on.
@maggie4After seeing unocss at the call with anthony fu, I decided to create a plugin similar to tailwind themes, but for unocss! So I made unocss themes, a variant generator for creating variants for multiple color themes. It allows you to add multiple color themes to a website, and supports attributify mode too! Check out the demo here: unocssthemes.vercel.app (code here).
@maggie4rainbow spotlight effect on dinooos.vercel.app :D@heyrajan0Hack the north was this weekend, which meant it was time to build—build something big.
This all started off as a platform to yell at people. No, seriously. In Global Politics class, we were introduced to the world of politics that we live in, and well, the propaganda and complexity for democracy shocked us. Articles are long, politics are complex, social issues are widespread, and ranting to friends leads to nowhere. We wanted to build a better way to learn—to clear the mist by alleviating false and opinionated facts through a gamified system. And that’s what Diplomatica is for, bringing the truth to everyone.
The platform is broken down into scraping relevant and desired articles, summarizing them with our AI models, and a decentralized debate platform to spark thought-provoking conversations and to compete with your friends.
A like on devpost, or a star on github, would be greatly appreciated :partyparrot:

Wanted a super chill project to work on over the weekend so I made verpi, a program to show the status of your vercel deployments on a small light strip! Alongside a super clean codebase it also has this nifty little python script to compile a binary on the pi without changing your local environment one bit! Below is a quick demo:
github.com/gleich/verpi@bjm0made my first real react site today – but seems like scrapbook took over my domain on vercel 😭 massive respect to people that know how to use tailwind because i still couldn’t figure it out
@matthewvandyke080I know I haven't posted about BrainDUMP in a few weeks because I have been busy and haven't gotten a chance to program or come up with new ideas. But today I brainstormed and soon new BrainDUMP content/updates will be coming!!
@Sarthak0Finished building the first version of a timer, scorer, and question pdf viewer app for National Science Bowl! Check it out here: nsb-aid.vercel.app.
@avi0made a weebsite for an ap environmental science assignment about droughts! check it out on droughtcards.vercel.app (note: some of the images be fucky)
@lachlanjc0Got my ticket for the special next Next.js Conf! :vercel::nextjs:nextjs.org/conf/tickets/jun21/lachlanjc@matthewvandyke080Just released BrainDUMP's new feature: Account Center. This was something that was on my list to add quickly after release and now it is finally here. Its a basic setup for the account center right now but I will be adding better additions soon! Along with the Account Center the UI has changed to now show your profile icon, next to the light/dark mode switcher, allowing you to go to your account or logout in one spot!
@tejasag0Working on my website's v2!
Heavily inspired by Jacky's website!! 😁
Will be much much more professional than my current one and a secret surprise 🙂
development preview: website-v2-git-dev-tejasag.vercel.app (has some incomplete stuff)
@matthewvandyke080🎉 Today marks my 300th day of posting to scrapbook and streaks! 🎉
Starting during Summer of Making I started posting updates about my work building Students Who Code and sharing updates + holding myself accountable to working on my projects. Through the past 300 days I have shared updates on Students Who Code, myDash, my portfolio + the redesign, BrainDUMP, and so many other things! Thank you to everyone who has followed my streaks and scrapbook 🙏
But now that I am on 300 its time to aim to 365...so lets start the countdown!!!! ⏰
scrapbook-countdown.vercel.appnote the countdown may be a little off
@matthewvandyke080new update for BrainDUMP 🚢
Just finished Brain Blog today and it is now live! Brain Blog will be home to new updates about features for BrainDUMP and will also feature the story collection about how others manage/execute ideas, are productive, and more (stories will be coming out soon...with some from fellow hack clubbers).
@matthewvandyke080Just updated BrainDUMP to support Tag Colors so it is easier for you to differentiate your tags and thoughts. thanks @benjamin for some help with this!
@sarthak0🚢 SHIP INCOMING 🚢
Today (in about 5-10 minutes actually), I created Anomaly Science's website. Check it out here: anomaly-science.vercel.app! I'm still off this Slack for the next two weeks so don't feel bad if I don't reply. Also, if anybody knows how to fix the B+ on DuckDuckGo, let me know, I think I have to add a special tag but not sure where the documentation on that is. Stay tuned for @nihal's Save the Entire Universe site which I'm expecting to be finished before the 8th.
@Skye0I finally transferred my school's hack club website from repl.it to GitHub and it is now being hosted on Vercel! I am still getting everything set up and styled but you can check out what we have so far here: github.com/BetsyZhang10/flhs-hack-club! Lmk if you have any ideas for improvements!
@riley33chou0moved stuff to vercel and made some major updates to citro hacks' website
